amg182
Not sure if this is possible, but if anyone knows it's you guys. Can I echo out the logged in user profile name of a windows PC onto a webpage? for example "Welcome John Desktop". I can get it to echo out the PC Name but not the user currently logged in. Any help would be greatly received. Thanks in anticipation. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/265003-displaying-logged-in-user/ Share on other sites

Barand
$_SERVER['LOGON_USER'] will return the username of the person on a windows network who is accessing your page. However the site must be correctly configured anonymous access disabled windows authentication enabled Use Google, or get your Network Administrator to configure Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/265003-displaying-logged-in-user/#findComment-1358106 Share on other sites
