Multiple Image Upload with Resize - Help Needed

Hi all,

 

Been searching around the forums for my answer but havent managed to find a solution. I am a PHP beginner and am very much still learning.

 

I am currently in the process of creating a CMS which is going to be used to add specific 'products' to what effectively is an online catalog to display product details to potential clients.

 

I currently have a form which uploads lots of things, ranging from product title, to a PDF and then images...

 

Previously I had a script which uploaded ONE image and created a smaller thumbnail images and stored tem both in separate folders on the server. See below...

I then realised that some products would have more than one image so changed the script to something which enabled me to upload multiple images and insert the path into separate columns of the specific product row in the DB. See below...

What I basically want is to be able to somehow merge these 2 scripts? Or at the very least add an image resize to the multiple image uploader script.
