shockwavecs
Hey, I was hoping to get an idea of what points to what when PHP and ldap_connect are used. We had an outage that affected the logins across the site. For some reason the ldap_connect is setup to use localhost. What does localhost refer to? - /etc/ldap.conf and grab the URI LDAP entries? - Or does it mean that the local machine is the ldap server that it will refer to? from here I got the idea to use this: <?php $ldaphost = "ldap1.site.domain.com ldap2.site.domain.com ldap1.othersite.domain.com"; $ldapconn = ldap_connect($ldaphost); ?> or maybe $ldaphost = "localhost ldap1.site.domain.com ldap2.site.domain.com ldap1.othersite.domain.com"; It seems like localhost is the issue and needs to be changed. I just want to verify this before making any site wide changes, etc. Thanks for any help you can provide.
