alevanpa
I run a MAC Mini OS-X Lion. Set up an apache server, PHP, AND MySQL on my MAC using Neil Gee's "Install and configure Apache, MySQL & PHP on OS X Lion 10.7 and 10.6" http://www.coolestgu...apache-on-os-x-10-6/ I am trying to teach myself HTML, PHP, & MySQL. This is for fun, because I am retired (70 yrs old), and just want to keep my mind going strong. gizmola
Excellent. There are plenty of organizations that need a website built for them -- or you could just create a hobby site. The best advice I can give you, is that you create a project for yourself that will require you to create a website. CodySP
You should be able to grasp HTML fairly quickly, It's a pretty fun learning curve and leaves you wondering what you can create by just using raw HTML code. I'm always willing to lend a helping hand if you ever need it!
