You will have to log in as if you were logging in for your first time. When you leave the site the session is destroyed.With IP it is not possible eather, because the IP is constantly changing. Check your IP today, and then check it after 2-5 days, and you will see that it changed.Only cookies can store data about the user, and when the user enters the site, the cookie will tell to the site if the user has to be logged in or not.
