calamityismouton Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 I had to mod-rewrite for my site and when I uploaded the .htaccess file, everytime I clicked on a link, it pop up with a message saying that it was a BIn file and opted to save it to my hard drive. For example, /board.php, when I clicked the link from the main page, it becomes /board and without the .htaccess it is a 404 not found but now I get a popup that says it is a BIN file. Any ideas? No one here can possibly help you with the content of your .htaccess file without seeing it. There can literally be a dozen different things that could be causing any one symptom or error and there's no way to narrow the list down without seeing the relevant information.
