The error is httpd: could not determine the server\'s fully qualified domain name using 127.0.0.1 for servername. i would appreciate any advice. I dont want to uninstall and than reinstall apache. please help. thanks. sorcerer980 Posted March 26, 2003 Author Share Posted March 26, 2003 I think i used the nslookup command improperly because my terminal says [sorcerer@nslookup /] how do i change this? i typed in nslookup hostname and i got a server 167. etc and Address 167. which is not correct. Also you can try going into the httpd.conf file and looking for a line that says ServerName and try commenting it out if it isn\'t already.. if it is commented try uncommenting it..
