zohab
Hi, My client want to update existing CMS and add new features in CMS. Currently I do not have source code with me. I find out using file extension it is PHP CMS. All urls on website are showing .html instead .php for SEO friendly feature. My question is how to find which CMS is used using view source in browser or URLS or any other way. - Thanks Zohaib.
ericlewis107
Check the footer or sidebar for a "Powered By" logo. That's the easiest way to know which CMS used into the website.
ricmetal
hi there or, take a look at the source code from inside the browser (Ctrl+U in FireFox). there might be comments with the CMS's name. Follow the css and javascript files too.
ignace
Like ricmetal already said you can view source to find the used CMS. You can also try to find the back-end using simple paths like /admin, /cp, /back, ..
