honkmaster
I have a form that has a drop down list that gets company details from mysql database when the company name is selected. When the form is completed it will not submit??? If I remove the script that gets the data from the database i can submit the form? I'm not the best at javascript, so could do with pointing in the right direction!! Cheers Chris <script> function showCompany(str) { if (str=="") { document.getElementById("customerDetails").innerHTML=""; return; } if (window.XMLHttpRequest) {// code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest(); } else {// code for IE6, IE5 xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function() { if (xmlhttp.readyState==4 && xmlhttp.status==200) { document.getElementById("customerDetails").innerHTML=xmlhttp.responseText; } } xmlhttp.open("GET","getcustomer.php?customer_id="+str,true); xmlhttp.send(); } </script> Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/278558-problem-submitting-form/ Share on other sites
codefossa
You should check out jQuery's $.get() and $.load(). Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/278558-problem-submitting-form/#findComment-1433014 Share on other sites
