I have seen this function on many websites. I am a php newbie and was just looking for a place to start. The site will have a menu bar where there would be a link for create free website. After clicking this option, it would take you to a sign up form that would prompt you to select a basic template, after selecting the template, it would prompt you to enter a subdomain, i.e www.yourname.mysite.com. You would then create a username and password that enables you to administrate the site. Each site will have 4 pages, home, about, photos and contact.
