Hi All,

I am not much experienced in Apache Administration.
I had to move my web site from one Host to my own host.
It is mainly in japanese.

After the movement, japanese pages when viewed through
IE 6.0 and Firefox2.0 is not able to set to default char-set SHIFT_JIS
which is mentioned in the index.html file. But if manually set the encoding
to shift_jis it is comming OK.
Please see the file
here - http://vaani.dyndns.org/web/index.html

The following is my appache2.conf file
Appache2.conf - http://vaani.dyndns.org/apache2.txt

The strange part is that if copy the same index.html file
as index.html.sjis, it is working. Please see the
file - http://vaani.dyndns.org/web/index.html.sjis

What should I do to make index.html to work. I cannot
rename all .html file as .sjis

I tried disabling MultiViews by deleting it from Options Indexes Multiviews etc
It is not working out. Please help. I tried whatever I could.

-thanks
