scs
I've recently got a new host. A really good one that I've had before. http://www.1and1.com. I can add, change(IP, DNS), delete domains at will. I am doing some local testing. With apache 1. But I dont know which ip I need to change at my host so that it talks to apache on my computer. Do I add my computers IP that has apache, or do I add the domains IP to apache, ect... ? Pretty simple question, just confused on that one. let me kno if I left out a detail.thanks ;DZach Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/28135-apache-domain/ Share on other sites
wildteen88
Huh! You want your hosts server to 'talk' to your local server? What are you trying to do?However you will need to give your hosts server your computers IP address and open port 80 for external sources.
