x-finite
I have a .html file with the following piece of code. $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "http://localhost/process.php", data: dataString, success: function() { $('#notice').html("Sent successfully!"); } }); What it essentially does, as can be seen is that it submits a data string to process.php present on a remote server. I'll call it remote considering that I'll be executing the .html file directly from the desktop, not a local/web server. Now the problem, it doesn't works. It works like a charm if I test the .html file on my local server thou. Hopefully there's a workaround for this?
