momof2girlies Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Installed WAMP on my Windows 7 32-bit PC and cannot connect to localhost or 127.0.0.1 (error below). I believe our Company's AV program (Kaspersky) is using a proxy server on port 80, so what should I do to be able to connect on a different port (as I can't change the Kaspersky settings)? momof2girlies Posted February 27, 2014 Author Share Posted February 27, 2014 Update...it's actually our Mail program that's using port 80 and blocking my access to localhost. As soon as I shut down the Kerio Connect process, I was able to connect to localhost. However, I'd rather not have my mail program stopped, so I still need to know if there's a different port I can use to connect (and how to change the settings if there is). Thanks! To do so, click the WAMP taskbar icon > Apache > httpd.conf Find Listen 80 and change to Listen 8080 save httpd.conf.
