makeshift_theory Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Ok first off here is the code:
$newcsv = new read_csv("monster.list.csv",","); $filearray = $newcsv->read(); // Assign read contents to a array arguement $id = $templates[$i]->id; if(!in_array($id,$filearray)) draw_template($templates[$i++]);
The problem I believe is the id part, The in_array function is not picking up any records when it should be. I know there is a sensitivity issue when ussing '12783' instead of 12783 and I believe this is the problem. I have tried just using 12783 and it works however when I switch back to the $id variable it picks up nothing. When I output the $id variable I get the correct number. Is there a way to check if the number was encased with '''s? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/28670-in_array-function-question/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
bljepp69 Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 You could try forcing it to an integer value by specifically declaring it that way. Something like this might work:
$id = (int)$templates[$i]->id; ....OR.... (int)$id = $templates[$i]->id;
Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/28670-in_array-function-question/#findComment-131234 Share on other sites More sharing options...
