Check boxes and sql

Hi all,,

 

New to all of this so I hope it makes a little sense.

1) Have connected up to my dadtabase OK

2) Have three check boxes on my HTML form

3)Have three variables in my code aa,bb,cc

4)Have placed these variables into my SELECT statement like this

 

SELECT * FROM aa,bb,cc.(Where aa,bb,cc are the checbox items put into the variable.

 

All works fine UNTIL Idecide to check only two(or one) of the three checkboxes,then nothing happens.

 

any suggestions greatly appreciated.
