Amend php code from default address to Latitude and longtitude coordinates in Google maps

I am working on a website where the default code asks Google maps to locate a property using Street Name, City, State, Zip as a first option. If not found to use Lat & Long coordinates if provided. Where the site is based Street names do not exist so Google finds the City and places a marker there. I want to override this and default directly to the Lat & Long coordinates.

The current relevant part of the code I think is:-

if($street && $city) {

$url = "http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=".urlencode($street.' '.$city.', '.$state.' '.$zip)."&sensor=false";

$resp = wp_remote_get($url);

if ( 200 == $resp['response']['code'] ) {

$body = $resp['body'];

$data = json_decode($body);

if($data->status=="OK"){

$latitude = $data->results[0]->geometry->location->lat;

$longitude = $data->results[0]->geometry->location->lng;

update_post_meta($post_id, "_ct_latlng", $latitude.','.$longitude);

}

}

}

I want to override the instruction to look for the address first, which if a 200 code is returned will then look for Lat & Long, and make the coordinates the automatic default.

All suggestions very welcome.

Thanks

Adrian
