In case you are really new to the PHP world, I'll just point out that the website http://php.net is the main resource to learn about functions, methods etc of PHP. You will probably find yourself referred there more often than not. Out of interest, are you versed in any programming languages...or are you completely new to them and decided to start with PHP?
