birchy
OK, this isn't for 99% of you. If you are only interested in making money now, move along.I'm not some starry-eyed novice with a great idea. I've been building an online publishing business in my spare time for 5 years, trying to create income for my retirement. I have two large scale sites (one ad-based, one subscription based) that are slowly growing and currently generate half of my wife's former paycheck. (She's now unable to work.) At this rate, it will take another 5 years to finsih coding the sites. It's become harder and harder for me to focus on large coding projects. I don't have the funds to pay anyone outright, but I'm willing to share future profites on a perpetual basis. I don't need a super skilled coder, so if you are someone who enjoys programming and isn't already working on your own huge website *and* are willing to risk a few months of effort for a paycheck that nevers stops even after you're done, send me a private email. The main project that you would be working on, is to modify FluxxBB to integrate with one of my existing sites, primarily navigation and user management, but also to expand it to work with thousands of communities, each having half a dozen posting categories. There will also be some customization of the feature set. I have smaller projects that include Paypal integration, reworkig the JS modals, etc.If you respond to this ad, we'll start the process of examing the risk/reward ratio and only if you are truly excited about the prospects, will we commit. We entered into a similar arrangement when we first started and a contractor worked for about an hour every weekday for a little over a year, adding content. They haven't done much work since then, but they get a $350 payment every month (because that content continues to generate value), and will keep getting that payment every month for as long as they are alive and the website is generating income. Our revenue has grown at least 13%/mo 5 out of the last 6 months. As part of the trust establishing process and the "can we work together" evaluation, we will offer a small project with 100% payment upon completion.
