help please mysql install

OK doing good so far read most of this forum already had a a little help now can I ask for a little more.

I have this error  #1045 - Access denied for user: 'pmausr@127.0.0.1' (Using password: YES)

I have been told I need to edit my pmausr where do I find this and in what file please
