Lee
I am trying to import an sql database into wamp that I have backed up from a phpBB board. The database is over 3MB, but WAMP on my local machine will only allow me to import a database of a max size of 2048kb.Is there any way I can get rid of this limit? Why is there a limit? Thanks. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/29699-import-database-max-file-size/ Share on other sites
wildteen88
Open up the php.ini for editing and find the following:upload_max_filesize = 2MChange 2M to 8M instead. This will allow you to upload file with a file size no bigger than 8MB You increase this if you wish.Save the php.ini and restart Apache server (done via WAMP control panel in task bar) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/29699-import-database-max-file-size/#findComment-137038 Share on other sites
