The php code above are some functions that appear unrelated to the save button. If I am understanding you correctly you would use SQL something like this: $employee_id = $_POST['employee_id']; SELECT * FROM Users WHERE employee_id = $employee_id $password = $row['password']; Now that you have the variable set, you can email it to them.
