Hi to all. How can I retain select box value after submit
this is my current code

<?php
       $query = $mysqli->query("Select Proj_ID  as id, PROJECT_NAME as project from tblproject"); ?>
       <select name="project" class="required" id="selproject">
        <option disabled selected>Select Project</option>
       <?php while($option = $query->fetch_object()){ ?>
        <option value="<?php echo $option->id; ?>"><?php echo $option->project; ?></option>

have you researched what the html syntax is that will cause an option choice to be selected, so that you will know what output the php code will need to produce?

after you do that, you will need to write a php comparison statement that tests if there's an existing value from the form and if that value matches the current option choice value, and output the correct html to cause that option choice to be selected.
