programguru Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 Is there a way, from command line linux, to make a copy of a MySQL db into a text file on my local machine, or another directory on the server? I have been at shell connecting to the MySQL server, but can not figure out how to export the db and create a txt dump file. Any tips?
