radar
Okay previously I was using xampp for my server needs but just today decided I'd go full on with everything I need so I downloaded apache 2.2.3 and installed that -- that works fine...I tried installing php 4.4.4, I couldn't run it using the .dll file that was included I had to run it as a cgi library but for some reason it just didn't want to work either way...Now all that comes up is a ERROR 403 FORBIDDEN page -- and i can't figure out whats wrong... and what to do -- please help!Oh and I am using Windows XP Pro edition (this is just my testing server I am setting up which is why i needed to use php4 -- as that is what my live server has on it).. witch
AS you have XP Pro why not use IIS. I know how to set this up but nothing about Apache. If you decide to go this route I will send you a set of instructions complete with screenshots (I know OOOHHHHAAA!!!!!).
wildteen88
In order to use Apache2.2 with PHP, eaither upgrade PHP to version 5 or downgrade Apache to Apache2.0.xAlso setup PHP as an Apache Module
