Matias
I looked into my current compiler and realized that it doesn't have two of the very important flags -fno-exceptions -felide-constructors Although I have absolutely no clue what these flags are. They are strongly recomended in source compiling for mysql. Without them working properly or without the compiler even having them at all causes the mysql service to crash haphazardly. So can anyone help me out on updating my gcc compiler. Note I run a Fedora Core 4 i386 version with a pentium 4 2.4ghz CPU
