Mysqli is enabled, but mysqli functions don't exist?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just installed PHP 5.2.0 and Apache 2.2.4 on my new server. Apache seems to be running okay, but unfortunately, PHP has a little issue.

I compiled PHP using --with-mysqli and gave it the path to mysql_config. My phpinfo() says mysqli is currently enabled, and even has versions. Unfortunately, I am unable to use mysqli functions for some reason - function_exists() says they don't exist.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Thank you.
