Hi, I'm an ASP developer who created an a jobs/applicant tracking application
that run on Access DB. I was approached by a company who wants it to run on
their apache server. I don't know much about PHP, Apache or mySQL and
i have some basic questions.

A) Will PHP support Access databse and Can the apache server support Access?
B) If i need to convert it to MySQL how do i go about migrating the tables and fields,
and where do i get mySQL server to play around with?
C) If i want to run the apache server on my home PC, can it run on win XP or W2K server?

That's all for now.
I know i made some of you laugh, but i got to start somewere.  ;)

You can use WAMP Server . Windows/Apache/Mysql/PHP = WAMP ...

if you are already running iis then you have to change the port no of Apache
open
/conf/httpd.conf in apache directory
press ctrl + f
find: "listen"
change the default value 80 to 2112 or anything...
restart apache.

A) Yes, details are here: http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/61/0.php
Normally apache will not be involved in database access, only PHP.
B) http://www.mysql.com is the official website.  I'm not sure how best to do the migration.
C) Yes it can.  http://httpd.apache.org is the official website.
