gj6kings
Hey guys..I have been trying unsuccesfully to create a horizontal table instead of a vertical table after it grabs data from mysql tables...this page displays the vertical outcome http://www.mfllive.com/ what i am trying to do is get the same data to output horizontally instead...here is my code..can anybody tell me what I am missing..or what i should add to get this result???? Any help would be greatly apreciated..or even a pointer on accomplishing a horizontal display?echo "<table width=960 border=1 style=border-collapse:collapse bordercolor=#000000 background=/images/newsbg.gif align=center cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0><tr><td valign=middle>"; echo "<form action='$PHP_SELF' method='post' style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">"; echo make_select($max_week,$max_season) ."</form></td></tr><tr><td>";echo "<tr> "; echo "<td width=55 bgcolor=$back><font size=1 face=verdana color=#800202><img src='images/blogos/" . $visitor . ".gif'></font></td>"; echo "<td width=20 bgcolor=#999999 align=center><font size=1 face=verdana color=#800202> -- </font></td>"; echo "<td width=20 rowspan=2><img src=images/recap_no.gif></img></td>"; echo "</tr>"; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td width=55 bgcolor=$back><font size=1 face=verdana color=#800202><img src='/images/blogos/" . $home . ".gif'></font></td>"; echo "<td width=20 bgcolor=#999999 align=center><font size=1 face=verdana color=#800202> -- </font></td>"; echo "</tr>"; }} } echo "<tr><td colspan=5><font color=#750000 face=verdana size=1>Bye: $bye_list</font>"; echo "</td></tr></table>"; echo "</table><br>"; Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/34524-part-phppart-html-problem/ Share on other sites
Braclayrab
Try putting all the TDs in one TR.Alternatively, you could use divs instead and give them inline style.(or just use spans but I <3 divs).<div style="display:inline"></div>There are good tutorials on HTML/CSS at www.w3schools.com if you want to look there also.
