ejbrever Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Hi, I have a webpage that is accessible from the internet, but a few scripts on the webpage will only be able to work in the user is connected to the companies internal LAN. Is there a way that PHP can check to see if the user is connected to our internal network? Are there any PHP scripts that can check user statistics (IP, etc.) maybe?Thanks,Eric Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/34753-check-if-on-internal-lan/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
taith Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 heres the code to get an ip address... but you will also need an array/database of allowed ip addresses...
<?function get_ip(){ if(!$ip=@$REMOTE_ADDR) $ip=$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; return $ip;}?>

#set array of allowed ip's here$allowed=false;foreach($allowedips as $allowedip) if($allowedip==get_ip()) $allowed=true;if(!$allowed) die("access restricted");
Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/34753-check-if-on-internal-lan/#findComment-163801 Share on other sites More sharing options...
