Hope I can explain this well...  ;)
I need to develop a drop down box that changes the page as you proceed.

Example:  Drop down box #1 has car manufacturers (ie. Honda, Ford, BMW, etc.)
Drop down box #2 has models
If you select no preference in box #1 all models should be viewed.
If you select Honda in box #1 -- drop down box #2 should show only (civic, accord, element, etc.)
If you select Ford in box #1 -- drop down box #2 should show only (escape, explore, GT, etc.)

EXAMPLE:  -- Done in KELLYBLUE BOOK  http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/default.aspx<br>Note it ends in *.aspx.... can this be done in PHP to connect to my mysql database????

Let's break down the tasks :

Javascript is going to do the listening for changes in the dropdown.
If you preload all the possibilities, js could replace your dropdown too,
but if you want to fetch it dynamically all the time, you'll want to make an ajax request
to something like buildNewDropdown.php?conditions=2
