oklahomawebhost Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 The default is the first website that iis installs when you install it. The home directory for it is usually C:\inetpub\wwwroot. Highlight the site, then click start, and see if it starts of if you get an error. you can check the error logs to see if there is an error, and that was you can diagnose the problem. I guess I should first ask, do you need the default site running? are you wanting to host another site there first?
