Hi People,  :-*

have a real quick one here....

i have an if statement that tests to see if the $_POST variables are not null.

heres my code...

[code]if  ( ($_POST['name'] != null) && (@$_POST['Target'] != null) &&  ($_POST['Actual'] != null) )  {
...[/code]

this statement controls whether or not an SQL query will execute, but i doesn't work, even though each global is not null.
if i replace the first instance of the && with a NOT || it works fine, see below.


[code]if  ( ($_POST['name'] != null) || (@$_POST['Target'] != null) &&  ($_POST['Actual'] != null) )  {
...[/code]

any ideas ??  ???
