rantsh
Are you planning to give away subdomains? btw, I don't think you can access subdomains with www. in front of them Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/36506-wwwmysitecom-wwwusernamemysitecom/#findComment-173783 Share on other sites
almightyegg
I could give away yes, but I don't know how to auto create one once an account is created :-X It doesn't matter if it is with www. or not I believe, I just tested that Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/36506-wwwmysitecom-wwwusernamemysitecom/#findComment-173790 Share on other sites
marcus
Yes you can. Xeoncross
You need a catch-all subdomain setup (like *.mysite.com just like a catch all email *@mysite.com) and then the .htaccess is really easy to setup if you just google it. mb81
I agree that a mod_rewrite would be easier than creating subdomains. BTW, you can set up subdomains after www., depending on how your CNAME settings are set on your server. Most sites are technically hosted at mysite.com, but their cname just accepts www.mysite.com as mysite.com.
