How do you get image width and height

php doesnt get information of images out side the host server, therefore, I searched it on google, and javascript seems to have some similar functions as well, however, I couldnt get the one I found on google to work, can anyone help me please?

cant you do that with javascript?

if (document.layers) {

	return img.width;
} else {

}

function getImageHeight(myImage) {

if (document.layers) {
	var img = getImage(myImage);

}
