I have tried to upgrade my php 4.3.1 to 5.2 as an application demanded a higher version. I downloaded Windows Binaries

    * PHP 5.2.0 zip package [9,433Kb] - 02 Nov 2006

      md5: 910734e96f41190020272d80b82ce553

and moved the php5ts.dll to system32 folder

and put in the new php.ini file in the WINNT folder

I put the new php in a folder C:\php5

then updated IIS to use the php.exe from the new php5 folder rather than the php folder

but when i try to run simple phpinfo(); file i get the message CGI Application timed out

anyone know what wrong?

thanks
