xyn
Hey Basically I've created my FWrite script, it's quite basic. All i want it to do, is take data from an installation script. and fwrite it into a Text document then chmod the doc to 0644. However i keep getting this problem... Warning: fopen(test.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Success in /home/eumodcou/public_html/projects/test.php on line 8 Cannot open file (test.txt) My code is... <?php $filename = 'test.txt'; chmod($filename, 0777); $config = "Add this to the file\r\n"; if (is_writable($filename)) { $handle = fopen($filename, 'W'); if (!$handle) { echo "Cannot open file ($filename)"; exit; } if (fwrite($handle, $config) === FALSE) { echo "Cannot write to file ($filename)"; exit; } echo "Success, wrote ($config) to file ($filename)"; fclose($handle); chmod($filename, 0644); } else { echo "The file $filename is not writable"; } ?>
tarun
I Cant Find Exactly What's Wrong But You Could Mayby Build It Around This $filename = "text.txt"; $filecontent = "The Content Of The File" $file_pointer1 = fopen("$filename", "w"); fwrite($file_pointer1, "$filecontent"); fclose($file_pointer1);
