kb2tfa
here's what I did. I installed apache2 on my freebsd box, and i had some start issues that were posted. However it did seem to work. I added this to the inetd.conf located in my /etc folder. "http stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl -k start" and when it boots, I get no errors, but when I try to access from another pc, this is what I get. "[Fri Feb 16 19:22:37 2007] [warn] (2)No such file or directory: Failed to enable the 'httpready' Accept Filter" has anyone seen this? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I think I need a break and to have some fresh eyes look at it.
effigy
Do you know if FreeBSD comes with Apache and you might have installed another version? Is Apache in your run control scripts? Does ps aux | fgrep httpd give you any results?
