Force "Activate" Flash?

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I have a problem.

On my webpage, I have a flash animation.

There is a problem though, everytime I view it, it wants me to click it to "activate" it. Until I activate the Flash (.swf file), it wont allow me to click any buttons on the flash.

How can I FORCE the flash to be activated at the very beginning?

Is this even possible?

Thanks for any help.

No, there are no errors in the flash or anything.

And it may be relevant to my version of Internet Explorer specifically.

Although nonetheless, the flash file will not allow me to click any buttons until I CLICK the flash, which therefore activates it.

Take it like this: In order to type in something into a form, you need to click the internet page to "activate" the page, which makes the internet page go above all other programs.

Hover your mouse over the flash, depending on your browser, you may have some gray border appear and if you elave the mouse hovering over the flash in one spot, it will say "click to activate and use this control".
