AdRock
I am trying to validate my code using XHTML strict and have come across some errors that are stored in the database. I have a CMS where I can add news items. The problem is that when I enter characters such as " ' and & I get errors when validating. The W3C validator says that I need to use the special codes. Is there a way I can either format the content before it goes into the database or formatting it when it comes out. I need to replace any characters such as these as use ’ closed single quote ‘ double quotes & ampersand How do i replace the characters with these special charaters so I can validate my code> Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/40250-how-to-convert-and-to-a-format-that-can-be-validated/ Share on other sites
