creating temporary table from full-text query

hello there,

i'm fairly new to the php although i got some skils now. i doing a project and learning the php along. to state my problem, well i'm using a full-text search on my db which works fine, but now i'm working on filtering the results further, like products in range of prices. my logic is to simply SELECT them out of the temporary table, only if it would be created. i don't think i need to paste any code since i think you get the idea, if you have some other suggestions on how to do this i will be gratefull.
