Hello!

Really easy question!

I need help finding the best way to check a Value (Eg. "14") in a MySQL Database and + or - from that number!

I'm hoping this is pretty easy, but i couldn't find documentation for this!

Thanks  :D pkirsch

You can do operations in MySQL.  Here is an example query:

SELECT column1 FROM table1 WHERE column2 <> 14

SELECT column1 FROM table1 WHERE column2 > 14

SELECT column1 FROM table1 WHERE column2 < 14

SELECT column1 FROM table1 WHERE (column2 - 7) = 14

SELECT column1 FROM table1 WHERE (column2 + 7) = 14

Hope that helps any.
