UnKiE.T
Hi All, I wonder if any one can point me to some information. I am fairly new to this so please excuse my ignorance I have setup an ftp server using Cerberus & DynDns which successfully allows me to upload files from a remote location to my PC. Thats all good. I have also created a web page that allows me to upload a file to my web server. I want to combine the 2 processes so I can use the web page to upload to my PC. I hope this makes sense because I am not sure how else to explain it. Please help if you can or direct me somewhere else. Thanks, UnKiE.T. interpim
you would need to basically set up your pc as a server and connected to the internet with a Static IP or domain registered to that IP.
UnKiE.T
Thanks, I think I have done that already. This is the code that used for the upload to my website <?php if ($_FILES['Filedata']['name']) { $uploadDir = "images"; $uploadFile = $uploadDir . basename($_FILES['Filedata']['name']); move_uploaded_file($_FILES['Filedata']['tmp_name'], $uploadFile); } ?> However to access my ftp server on my PC I need to access ftp://mydomain.dnsalias.com with a username and password So i am trying to combine the ftp info into that bit of PHP i think!?!
