For the home directory I do not have an index.html page or anything because I want apache to create an "index of" page (im using the server as file hosting so I dont need html pages). One of the sub directories is password protected using Digest in the httpd.conf file. However, when I navigate to my home directory (using like firefox), that password protected folder is no longer listed. So I have to type the folder name directly into the address bar to go there.
