The Bat Posted March 17, 2007 Share Posted March 17, 2007 It seems like you're nesting 2 of the same things ($result), and could be better typed like this: <?php if ($result = mysql_query("SELECT username,password FROM login WHERE username = '$emailID' and userpassword='$password'")) { $flag = 1; } else { $flag = 0; } ?> Try that, and see how it works.
