tauchai83
have you set your mysqli class properly? open up the php info page to check whether mysqli class has been set. If it is not, you need to change it in php.ini file. what PHP version you using? HappyPandaFace
I'm using PHP 5.2.1 and mySQL server 5.0. If I started from the original php.ini file what would I need to put in it to make mySQL functions work? I'm trying to use mySQL functions in my PHP code but I keep getting this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_connect() in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\mysqltest.php on line 13 What is happening? Please read this sticky You haven't enabled the the mysqli extension. That sticky will point to an FAQ which will tell you how to enable that extension. Note where it says php_mysql.dll use php_mysqli.dll the problems could be almost anywhere in the php class/config apache server php installation mysql installation mysql setup mysql database post your php class and work from their That is nonsense. It all to do with PHP's configuration. Nothing else. HappyPandaFace
Heres my php.ini file I had to take some text off the top to meet the char limit: I did what that other thread said and nothing happened. zlib.output_compression = Off ;zlib.output_compression_level = -1 ; You cannot specify additional output handlers if zlib.output_compression ; is activated here. This setting does the same as output_handler but in ; a different order. ;zlib.output_handler = ; Implicit flush tells PHP to tell the output layer to flush itself ; automatically after every output block.
