ChaoticResolve Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 Database Structure: id varchar(32) primarykey url text name varchar(255) indexed, fulltext size int(11) desc varchar(255) indexed, fulltext site text out int(11) Basically I want to search both `name` and `desc`, at the moment I'm using Like (%query%) but it's limited. I want to use MATCH, but the index does include anything under 3 chars, the major problem is that it misses out numbers, so when some searches, "something 20" it just lists everything found for "something". I don't own the server so i can't change "ft_min_word_len". Thanks, oh and it's v.5.0.24a-standard-log and other than querying I pritty much always use phpMyAdmin.
