Joining meeting Groups (noob help)

Hello All;

 

I search the forums and did not find anything. I may have missed what I was looking for so please point me the right way.

What I am attempting to do with PHP is make a web form that will allow users to join meeting groups, and then give the group leaders away to see who have joined there group. My server has mySQL and I know I sill need a database. I have not worked with PHP before so I am at a bit of a loss. Thanks for any pointers to tutorials or sample pages.

you cannot approach this project without having the basics down. if you do, you still may succeed but you will be left with a very inefficient/non-robust application. my advice would be to look in my signature and learn everything under the basic category first. once you know how to do some basic coding, the concept is where you'll need help, in which case we'll be able to help you, no problem. good luck!
