Hello all,

i just started learning ajax,

i have one big doubt,

we are planning to create a great script using heavy ajax.

so shall i go with any framework or code everything on own?

if framework please tell us a good one on which we can rely to make too many ajax calls and can use for atleast 2years.

thanks.

successlieswithme,

In my post earlier today regarding Ajax Select List generation, I pointed the user to:

// http://www.fornewbie.com/article/php/create_ajax_dynamic_drop_down_list_using_php_-_xajax.html

That process uses the  XAJAX framework,  found here:

This may be what you are looking for.

If you are only going to be using ajax and very little eye candy effects, I would suggest that you just write it your self. Prototype, scriptaculos and mootools are the best js frameworks on the market. Several well known backend frameworks come with one or more of these by default(.i.e CakePHP and RoR)
