[SOLVED] including to CSS

What i am trying to do is include some variables from my config.php file and use them in my CSS file.

config.php

<?php

$text_colour = "";
$text_font = "comic sans ms";
$background_colour = "#FF0000";
$border_colour = "#4e4e4e";
$background_colour_comments = "";
$guestbook_title = "";
$guestbook_title_colour = "";

?>

style.css

<?php
header('content-type:text/css');

include('config.php');
?>

body {
color: <?php print $background_colour;?>;
}

p.solid {
border-style: solid;
color: <?php print $border_colour;?>;
border-width: 2px;
width: 40%;
text-align: center;
font-family: <?php print $text_font;?>;
}

Then in my index.php file i have put

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<title>Guestbook</title>
	<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" />
	<script type="text/javascript" src=""></script>
	<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
</head>
<body>
	<?php

	echo "<p class='solid'>Hello</p>";

	?>
</body>
</html>

This shows a box with a black border that is 2px thick and is 40% wide and the text is aligned in the middle, but the border colour and background colour is the wrong and the font is wrong.

Can someone help please?

Thanks

Max
